To celebrate the launch of our Spring Fling wallpaper collection, we asked the incredibly talented Ainslee from Lumi & Co to dream up a room that did it justice — and she absolutely delivered.

Meet Ainslee: Stylist, Mum, and Kids' Room Enthusiast
Ainslee is the mum of Lucas and Amelia, and the creative force behind Lumi & Co. Coming from a big family, she's always been a kid person — and her passion for creating spaces that inspire little ones shines through in every corner of this room.
Q&A With Ainslee
Ainslee, you clearly love styling kids' rooms — where does that come from?
"Coming from a big family, I've always been a kid person, and I think it's so amazing to create a fun space that kids can be inspired by!"
What was your inspiration for the Spring Fling room?
"I have slowly been injecting colour into Amelia's room — it just makes it such a happy place to be! When I saw that Shannon from Isla Dream was working on this wallpaper I just had to have it. The colours and the flowers caught my attention immediately and I wanted to create a sanctuary for Amelia."
What are your top three tips for designing a kids' room?
- Start with your statement piece and work from there. Wallpaper or wall decals are a great place to begin — once you have your hero element, everything else follows.
- Take your colour inspiration from that statement piece. Pull tones from the wallpaper or decal and carry them through your textiles, furniture and accessories for a cohesive look.
- Good toy storage is a necessity — and have fun with it! A well-styled room is one that actually works for the family living in it.
The Wallpaper: Spring Fling by Isla Dream Prints x Minnie and Me Interiors
The hero of this room is the stunning Spring Fling wallpaper — a collaboration between Isla Dream Prints and Minnie and Me Interiors, now available through Little Abodes Interiors.
Ainslee paired it with a custom split wall design — Spring Fling wallpaper on the top half and a complementary block colour below — creating a layered, designer look that feels elevated and intentional.
The room also features matching Spring Fling wall decals scattered throughout the space to carry the floral theme beyond the feature wall.
