LAY-BY INFORMATION & TERMS

Create their dream space now, pay over time.

We know a beautiful bedroom, nursery or play space is a special investment. Our lay-by option lets you secure your favourite pieces today and spread the cost across a timeframe that suits your family. Perfect for full bedroom makeovers, cubby house transformations, nursery projects and Christmas surprises.

STANDARD LAY-BY

90 days to pay

Ninety days from the date your lay-by is created. Ideal for:

  • Complete bedroom makeovers
  • Nursery projects
  • Cubby house styling
  • Wallpaper and signage packages
  • Larger custom orders

CHRISTMAS LAY-BY

Final payment Fri 20 Nov 2026

Secure your Christmas order early and pay it down at your own pace. Ideal for:

  • Christmas cubby house makeovers
  • Wallpaper and personalised signage
  • Name signs, night lights and room accessories
  • Full bedroom transformations being gifted

Christmas Lay-bys can be opened until Friday 30 October 2026.

HOW TO SET UP A LAY-BY

  1. Add your selected products to your cart.
  2. Continue to checkout and choose Lay-by as your payment method.
  3. Select either Standard Lay-by (90 days) or Christmas Lay-by.
  4. Check that your email address and order details are correct. Email is how we send everything.
  5. Complete your lay-by order.
  6. We will email your deposit amount, our payment details, your order reference and your final payment date.
  7. Pay by bank transfer or Osko whenever it suits you.

If your lay-by confirmation email has not arrived within a few days, please get in touch so we can resend it.

YOUR DEPOSIT

A 25% deposit activates and secures your lay-by. It needs to reach us within 7 days of your lay-by invoice being issued, otherwise the lay-by may be cancelled.

Your deposit forms part of the total purchase price and comes straight off your remaining balance.

FLEXIBLE, SELF-MANAGED PAYMENTS

There is no fixed payment schedule. Pay weekly, fortnightly, monthly, or in larger amounts whenever your budget allows. The only requirement is that the full balance reaches us by the final due date shown in your lay-by agreement.

You are welcome to pay your lay-by off early at any time.

HOW TO PAY

Accepted

Bank transfer or Osko only. Our account details are included in your lay-by confirmation email.

Not accepted

Credit card and Buy Now, Pay Later payments cannot be manually processed toward a lay-by balance.

Please use your order number as the payment reference. Without it we cannot match your payment to your lay-by, which delays your balance being updated.

CONFIRMATIONS AND REMINDERS

You will receive a confirmation email each time a payment is received and allocated to your lay-by. Reminder emails throughout your lay-by period will include:

  • Your current balance
  • Your final payment date
  • Your payment reference
  • Our bank details

Customers remain responsible for making sure the lay-by is paid in full by the final due date.

PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING

Almost everything we make is custom printed, personalised or made to order. Production begins only once your lay-by is paid in full.

Our standard production timeframe starts from the date your final payment is received. The lay-by payment period sits outside that timeframe.

Shipping is calculated and confirmed when your lay-by is created. Once production is complete your order is dispatched under our standard shipping process, and you will receive tracking details by email.

If your delivery address changes before dispatch, please let us know as early as possible so we can update your order.

CHRISTMAS TIMING

Christmas Lay-bys open until

Final payment due

FRIDAY 20 NOVEMBER 2026

Christmas Lay-bys must be paid in full by Friday 20 November 2026. Because every piece is made to order, that date leaves enough time for your items to be produced, packed and dispatched before Christmas.

New Christmas Lay-bys can be opened until Friday 30 October 2026, so there is a sensible window to pay the balance down. After that date, Standard Lay-by remains available, though Christmas delivery cannot be guaranteed.

Christmas delivery timeframes can also be affected by postal and freight delays outside our control.

If your Christmas Lay-by is not paid in full by 20 November

Your lay-by is not cancelled. It automatically continues under our Standard Lay-by terms and we will confirm your new final payment date in writing by email.

Because production begins only once the balance is paid, your order will be made and dispatched after Christmas. From that point the standard lay-by terms on this page apply, including the final payment date and cancellation terms.

FULL-PRICED PRODUCTS ONLY

Lay-by is available on eligible full-priced products. It is not available on:

  • Sale products
  • Clearance products
  • Discounted products
  • Orders using a promotional discount code
  • Offers that specifically exclude lay-by

A lay-by submitted using an ineligible sale or promotional price may be declined or cancelled, with any payments refunded.

CHANGES TO YOUR ORDER

Please double check your products, measurements, colours, wording, personalisation and delivery details before submitting your lay-by.

Changes may be possible before the order enters production, but they cannot be guaranteed. Any approved change that increases your order total must be paid in full by the existing final payment date.

Once production has commenced, the order cannot be changed unless otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.

CANCELLING A LAY-BY

IF YOU CANCEL

You may cancel your lay-by at any time before receiving the goods. Please let us know in writing.

We will refund the payments received, less any termination fee stated in your lay-by agreement. Any fee is limited to our reasonable costs relating to the lay-by, such as administration, payment reconciliation and cancellation processing.

The fee and refund amount will be explained to you when your cancellation is processed. Refunds are ordinarily processed within 14 business days.

IF WE CANCEL

We may cancel a lay-by where:

  • The deposit is not received within 7 days
  • The lay-by agreement is breached
  • Full payment is not received by the final due date
  • The products are no longer available
  • We are no longer able to fulfil the agreement for another legally permitted reason

Where we cancel for a reason that is not caused by the customer, no termination fee is charged.

Christmas Lay-bys are not cancelled at the 20 November date. They roll over to Standard Lay-by terms with a new final payment date, as set out under Christmas Timing.

CUSTOM AND PERSONALISED PRODUCTS

Many of our products are custom made, custom printed or personalised specifically for your order. Because production does not begin until the lay-by is paid in full, you keep full flexibility during the payment period. Once production has commenced, custom or personalised products cannot be changed or cancelled for change of mind, except where cancellation, repair, replacement or refund rights apply under Australian Consumer Law.

ONCE YOUR LAY-BY IS PAID IN FULL

  1. Your lay-by is marked as paid in full.
  2. You receive a payment completion email.
  3. Your order enters our production queue.
  4. Our normal production timeframe begins.
  5. You receive shipping confirmation and tracking once your order is dispatched.

Goods are not produced, dispatched or supplied before the complete lay-by balance has been paid.

AUSTRALIAN CONSUMER LAW

These Lay-by Information & Terms do not exclude, restrict or modify any right or consumer guarantee that cannot legally be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

Consumers have the right to cancel a lay-by before receiving the goods. Businesses must provide the agreement in writing, clearly disclose any termination charge, and ensure that charge does not exceed their reasonable costs relating to the agreement.
