When Hide & Seek Kids got the call to appear on Season 3 of Honest Renovations with Jessica Alba on The Roku Channel, they called on Little Abodes Interiors to help style it.
No agent. No product placement deal. Jessica Alba's production team searched for a premium playhouse for a family backyard transformation, found Hide & Seek Kids online, and a few emails later an Australian small business from Brisbane was booked for national American television. And our wallpaper and cubby signage went with them.
The Show: Honest Renovations Season 3, Episode 4
Honest Renovations is hosted by Jessica Alba and Lizzy Mathis. The show helps real families solve real problems with their homes — and it debuted as the number one on-demand title on The Roku Channel. Season 3, Episode 4 — "Big Family, Big Fixes" — featured a family who needed their backyard to work much harder for them.
Multiple kids, not enough outdoor play space, and a yard that wasn't being used to its potential. That's where Hide & Seek Kids came in. And that's where Little Abodes Interiors came in too.

Alongside the wallpaper, we created a full suite of personalised cubby signs — acrylic pieces that gave the cubby its identity and made the space feel like it was designed just for that family's kids. House numbers, name signs, statement pieces — the kind of details that make children gasp when they peek inside.
Jessica Alba and co-host Lizzy Mathis were genuinely impressed with the finished space — stopping to look at the timber finish, asking how it was constructed, and commenting on the quality. Seeing our signage and wallpaper on screen, in a cubby that millions of Americans watched being revealed on national television, is something we're incredibly proud of.

The Build: Billie Grand by Hide & Seek Kids
The cubby at the heart of this project was a custom playhouse with a timber pergola extension from Hide & Seek Kids — giving the family an outdoor play zone with shade, room to move, and a structure their kids can grow into for years to come.
Multiple windows for natural light, cottage-style detailing, and enough interior space for real imaginative play. The same quality timber construction you'd get ordering from their website — just with cameras rolling.
The Reveal
The family walked out to find their backyard completely transformed. The kids ran straight for the cubby. The parents saw an outdoor space they'd actually use. Jessica and Lizzy stopped and genuinely engaged with the quality of what they were seeing — not in a polished TV way, but in the way people do when something actually impresses them.
That's the moment that makes every late night in the studio worth it.
