💡 Pro tip: Apply decals before assembling the kitchen where possible — it makes installation significantly easier. If already assembled, remove handles and knobs and consider detaching doors for best results.

To apply:

  1. Remove the full backing sheet from the decal completely
  2. Carefully position and stick — reposition as needed before pressing firmly
  3. Keep the adhesive surface clean — dust or debris will affect stickiness
  4. Use a sharp knife to cut a small cross where each screw hole goes
  5. Reattach handles and knobs
  6. Trim any excess edges using the trimming guide below

✂️ Trimming Guide

Some decals are intentionally made slightly larger than the panel to ensure complete surface coverage. Here's how to trim them perfectly:

  1. Align the decal carefully with two straight edges first
  2. Apply and smooth firmly into place
  3. Trim the remaining sides with a brand-new sharp Stanley knife or box cutter
  4. Always use a metal ruler for a clean, straight edge

⚠️ Important trimming notes:

  • Never leave excess decal overhanging panel edges — this causes peeling over time
  • Always use a sharp, fresh blade — fraying occurs when the blade is dull
  • These are peel-and-stick fabric decals, not vinyl — a sharp blade is essential for a clean cut
  • A second set of hands makes lining everything up significantly easier
